what color is spice. In the game its orange (which i like the best) in one of the movies its green. In the books its described as having a cinnimon flavor and smell. What is its consistensy (pardon my spelling) before and after refinement. A fine powder or a clumpy one. Also is it eaten, snorted, or what. Exluding things like spice beer and countless other things.

Well to the best of my knowledge it's a brown-orange. Like dark orange? Somewhere along that line. Its consistency is probably clumpy when it is fresh from the spice flower, but then Fremen take it and grind it into a fine powder. And it's ate/drank, except for those lil pesky teenage fremen who think snorting it gives you powers to see things beyond normal colors (woah look at the lights man) ;)

Nema: It was a green-grey colour in the miniseries.

I like the brown-orange depiction the best. Any other colour contrasts with the desert too much. In the DE, it's blue, and that just sounds dumb.

I do believe spice essence is blue in the books. I kinda like the idea of blue. though in the books I do agree that it is orange. Remember the dust cloud that was spewed out by the miner around the orange spice field.

It's an idea on the encyclopedia made by simply a fan, Dr somethingoranother.

It's compiled from over a 100 or so articles and groups of interestingly put words :P Not a source for fact-finding, but a good read if you like to think "What if..."

I say what I have accumulated from others :) I have read that Frank Herbert didn't accept it as the official encyclopedia but thought it was a good idea on its own. :P
