Every month it is the same because every month a particular individual, you all know who he is, decides to complain and complain regardless of whether or not the list was accurate and effective. This person cannot be pleased. This person will always complain about everything, because it it his nature to do so.

As far as your suggestion goes, Nyar, it isn't very applicable with Emperor. Multiplayer emp isn't like Half-Life or even gamespy. The principle behind it is that there is one set of servers with the same rules, same limitations, same ladder. If this server is meinteined properly, this is a very good thing, as cheaters can be punished by a single power, and all types of hacks or trainters can be universally prevented. Unfortuneately, if the server system is not meinteined properly, or not meinteined at all in this case, it becomes less effective than if cheats were controlled at a local and public level. However, one group is attempting to make their own WOL. WSE (westwood exposed), in correlation with westwood, is developing WU (westwood underground). It is the equivelant of WOL, but is run and meintained by a third party. Little is known about it, as it is not yet operational, but it's definately worth a look.

if you take a christian view of things, shouldn't u believe that ppl should be given another chance to undo their mistakes?

You say that some players in Xvayne's winner list have been proven to cheat in previous months... well, they were not cheating in the last month so they deserved their well earned positions... and it doesn't seem like they would intend to cheat anymore - intentionally OR unintentionally. (well we hope not :))

..And if anyone is ever proven to cheat on the ladder in future months, their name will be removed from the winners list of the month they cheated at.

Sounds fair to me.

You're right ACE, but still doesn't mean we should respect one's effort to make a winners list. I still stand with what I said, if one doesn't like it, create your own list and stay out of others that you dislike.
