IMPORTANT!

A bug was found in the KH2 patch. In fact, it seems this bug has been there ever since the original KH2: the Tleilaxu Leech does far too much damage to infantry and buzzsaws (in other words, non-leechable units). No matter what I did to it, this bug refused to go away. So in order to keep the Leech from being over-powered, I greatly reduced its rate of fire (it now fires over 2 times slower than before - but with the increased damage and instant hit, this is the only way to keep it balanced) and I also slightly reduced its speed.

These are very small but essential changes, so I have made another patch: KH version 2.11

It's exactly the same as 2.1, but with the Leech properly fixed. The file size is the same, 42 KB, so it's still very small.

If you have KH2, please download the new 2.11 patch. It's small and useful. Also, it is best if everyone has the same version of KH. Remember that you can only play online with people that have the same version as you do.

You would NEVER do anything like this for CR, no matter how many times I ask, considering you would lock the topic to keep me from releasing new Betas. ::) But I'll help anyways, because I'm generous... ;D

What did you do to that leach? I'll take a gander at it and see... ??? the only thing I can figure, is something you did to the other units...Not sure though... :-

This is my LEECH_B entry, and it works fine:

Hey, when did I ever lock any of your topics? Except that time we had a sig war... but I unlocked it after a few minutes.

The problem is, sometimes the Rules.txt decides to go insane on a certain unit, and there's nothing I can do to prevent it. Even though it says the Leech does 100 damage, it actually does about 700. And I can't change it, no matter what I do! >:(

You'd better look for similar problems in CR, I heard of several mods who got this "crazy Rules" bug...

Good thing there are other ways to balance a unit...

The Leech is actually the third KH2 casualty of this bug. It also hit the PopUp turret and the Elite Sard, but I discovered those in time and fixed them without the need for a new patch. The Leech managed to slip by, though...

Yes, it will be required. But I promise there will be no more patching changes for the tournament. :)

We're not playing, Frodo... because I already played with Ethan! I won, but only because he disconected (we were still pretty evenly matched at the time). So I sent him an IM and I'm waiting for a reply to see if he gave up or got disconnected by accident.

Furthermore, you DO NOT have a sticky privilege. I will not make a topic sticky just because you say so. I will make a topic sticky only if it's really important.

Note that your index topic is now sticky. It is important... But it's unfair. Many good mods aren't listed there just because nobody talked about them recently!

Well, tell me what they are, and I will be happy to add them. BTW, is Wrath of the bene Tleiaxu dead? If I get proof otherwise, I'll add it...

Oh, and BTW...KH2 is really good. Just tried it. Don't worry, I won't steal your icons. ::)
