Help - CMP Files?

What's the equivalent of this file? Like, what type of Audio file is it, that Sound Recorder or Windows Media Player can play?

Like the .W sound files are .WAV Files....

If anyone knows, help would be appreciated.

CMP is a compressed format, and .w is not .wav, .w is only the data of the wav file no header, DuneEx 2.00, can build an header for the .w files so you can play them with Windows Media Player or what ever other audio player.

also, cant you, using the bag tool, make cmps? By right clicking on the audio file and clicking save as cmp?

I guess Frodo, but see, what I want to do, is make the CMP file it's original WAV / MP3 (or whatever it was before it was a CMP file) so I can listen to it.

This way, you could easily listen to every thing a character says when you usually click and move them, by just extracting the right files. There's no real point, but in my opinion, I enjoy some of the things the Sarduakar say. :P
