Today I bought Dune Messiah. It was second hand (actually 4 people rented it before), and costed me S$12. My Dune was S$16 and was fresh, new. But Dune Messiah wasn't. My mum scolded me a lot for wasting money on second hand books.

Hmmm, if you really think it was worth it, then I guess it probably was worth it. However if you're going to buy something, make sure you actually WANT to buy it before you hand over money. I personally wouldn't the books from the Dune story second hand, I'd buy them brand new and look after them.  ;D

Go to good second hand book stores. I got all my dune books and other frank herbert books for 1 dollar to 4 dollars a piece.lol ;D

theres a second hand store here. i got dune messiah, children of dune, god emperor, and chapter house for 5 bucks all together. but still i bought dune new and it only cost 8 dollars
