mooky Posted June 20, 2002 Share Posted June 20, 2002 i tried to start emperor bod ,and an error message pop up saying " unable to create 3d device "i have 3dfx voodoo 3 3000 ,with the latest driver v3-w9x-1.07.00the game used to work on my cpu b4 i formated it .i used the same driver then and now it doesnt work anymore.pleas any1 help me!!!!!!!!! Nyarlathotep Posted June 21, 2002 Share Posted June 21, 2002 This error message usually indicate a problem between directx and your video card drivers.Through experiave, I've learned that the Voodoo 3 3000 driver version 1.04 work best with this game. Make sure you have directx 8.0 or 8.1 installed.It also seems that once the drivers are installed, you may need the following options behind the games shortcut: -c and/or +w.
