Hey everybody,

I didn't see introduction yourself forum.

So, here it goes.

I'm Morphosis and am a huge fan of Dune 2 and Dune 2k. I enjoy playing Dune 2k since I was a kid.

I had been playing skirmish and mission game a lot of time but never play with other people online game. :(

I really like to get back and play it again :D

Is there any news about Dune 2000 could run on windows 7?

Here are some map editors, I recommend Shai-Hulud 2000 (sh2k.zip), the D2K+ toolkit can be used for making missions and here are some tutorials for the mission editor and getting Shai-Hulud 2000 to work. Also, you should see if you can update D2K to V1.06 but I think the updaters don't work on 64 bit versions of Windows. If it does not update, I can give you the files from the 1.06 update.

You should use the High resolution patch.

I would wait until the patch is finished before recommending it (as gorgeous as it looks, its unstable at certain points of the game).

Ummm... ok? When the patch is finished?

My first attempted was when I run dune 2k on windows 7, I had a similar problem like N.Kindt http://forum.dune2k.com/topic/19636-dune2k-high-resolution/?p=380584

and my second attempted was (which is I done it today) I have installed a 1.06v patch on it and it's looks really good but smaller

Here's a screenshot

Maybe, I could run a couple test on my computer to get into fullscreen.

Shai-hulud is the best for multiplayer maps. You can see my channel, you might find interesting stuff there :)

I watched a couple of your video and found it is very interesting to learn. Thanks for your awesome tutorial video. Hope I will make a mission in the future. ;)

Edit: I forgot to add. Is anybody planning to add a new feature like add IPv6 to dune games?

I will create a tutorial "How to configuring IPv6 address" and maybe, someone who already know how to do it.

Hi-res patch is fine for singleplayer and if you have the mission select mod I would recommend it.

Though, about multiplayer, its too buggy now and I'm not even sure if it wouldnt cause oos (out of sync) errors if others dont have it.
