Greece is Bankrupt.

What remains is the date to announce it officially-or not. Anyway the later doesn't matter at all.

Get a foretaste of events to follow:

-2 hospitals in Athens stop accepting patients:

Where is the money?

The mafia ruling the Country DOES NOT WANT US to know. A political coup is under way. The 'government' limits the power of the judiciary power (thus becoming a pure dictatorship) to prevent investigation after hackers entered bank accounts and found that billions are deposited in secret accounts (in other countries) of numerous politicians (ministers etc). Banks have to give an answer and face justice that will lead to their closure and collapse of world economy. But they will not. The dictators have killed justice...

The failure of the major political parties has less to the fascists getting more and more power and support and demanding participation in the government. The stage is set to pass from a Socialist to a National Socialist regime...

For God's sake all you free thinking people who happen to have deposits in Greek Banks. I do not need to say what you have to do. And all conscientious Christians stop funding/investing in any project here in Greece, because otherwise you will be feeding corruption and the egg of the snake.

It is true about almost any country in The West. The US owes $14 Trillion in Debt. Portugal and Italy are practically downing in debt, as is Ireland and Belgium.

The president of LAOS party (nicknamed: Karatzaführer)in yesterday's noon delirium stated that the journalists twisted his sayings and that he was referring to military craft (ships) that enter illegally Greek borders (anyway how you distinguish one from another is another story) but insisted of kicking out the immigrants from the country. And not only that, but since the numbers do not make equal to combat unemployment he presented his innovative scheme: MOMA. MOMA is a currently dismantled army construction division. According to Karatzaführer all public major construction work will be handled by the army and all unemployed citizens will have the privilege to join the army on a 5 year term and construct the country! Mein Kampf!

The guy had a talk in Patras University where some protested against him.

To get a Nobel prize people think that you need to be intelligent-whereas all the facts say not really!

Unconfirmed (from anon. poster): Police attacked foreigners selling shoes in the street at Thessaloniki. Maybe we cannot confirm if it is true, but one is sure: fascism and racial discrimination is on the rise. Scapegoats are created to avoid being lynched and continue undisturbed their 'Mafia' works.

Also, the whole thing about Watson saying that Africans are not as intelligent as westerners is old news. Really it's obvious that Africans would be intelligent in different ways, as their cultures include very different values from our own.

It seems hard to believe that someone with James Watson's views would be invited to speak at a major University campus. There is definitely awareness on Watson's views world-wide, and they are very misguided. I was not aware of his views presented in the last paragraph, which are even more troubling, and wrong. I see that the protesters wore hoods, and that should probably not be allowed, because it gives them the right to be incognito.

The debate goes on whether or not Watson should be allowed to be treated as a 'normal' speaker as he lectures around the globe. His comments about the people of Africa really was and should have been completely career-ending.

Don't find it hard to believe. Many of my teachers there view him as their God. And the latter statement in the last paragraph finds me in total agreement with him: He wouldn't be alive to pi** us! evil.gif

He's an old white guy. He's brilliant in his specific field, but he has outdated thinking. He should keep his mouth shut on social, psychological and political issues, but really it only hurts the people who take his comments seriously. I think that one of the biggest problems we have in human society is our belief in the infallibility of our authorities. Scientists, unfortunately, are not immune to this tendency. People just need to learn to think critically about what others say, instead of just taking everything so seriously.

It seems that Mr Watson has not spoken in the USA since his ultra-controversial remarks. Maybe they tried to 'sneak him in under the rug' when he was going to speak in Greece.

The increase in public transportation fares by 40% was painted as a success by the Greek gov. propaganda, whereas it was an epic fail:

March 2011 March 2010 Change CARDS 7.145.760 7.153.456 -0,1% TICKETS 16.877.584 15.165.356 +11,3% Total 24.023.344 22.318.812 +7,6% Cards/Tickets 70/30 68/32

(Source: http://government.gov.gr/2011/04/13/11797/ *)

Total: 7,6% only instead of 40% which was the increase? This can mean 2 things:

More people stopped paying a ticket and travel without paying. ;-)

Economy has collapsed, unemployment skyrocketed and people do not go to work anymore.

More people junked public transportation and use their private cars. (With the increase on gasoline prices not even to think about it!)

* The villains are taking our money to publish such b***s**t propaganda on the official government pages and get payed thick salaries.

That's really unfortunate about the price of gasoline, but I am not that familiar with public transportation.

I know a lot of my students use the bus system to get to the college. At the Shelter, the same is true. The goal is to get the 'cleaned-up' patrons a monthly bus pass, or get SMART to give them for free to try to help people get around town for a low-skilled jobs.

Our local Metro station was attacked the day before yesterday for protest against high price of tickets. Ticket machines were broken. But 1 ticket machine was working, so I didn't avoid paying for a ticket yesterday.

Posted

I gotta love the protests that involve vandalism which means the government has to waste money fixing things.

I don't think damaging metro station infrastructure is going to result in lower ticket prices when their costs have increased.

The country is bankrupt but a restructure will not take place. That would mean the end of EU. (Restructure means that part of the debt will have to be erased.) An extension is what is going to happen.

For those who plan to visit Greece this summer:

The following link is the site of a known hotel in Greece:

http://www.hotelkornilios.gr/siteGr/central.htm

The owner of the hotel was arrested for beating one of his employees when she demanded from him the extra salary for Easter which he is obligated to give but was refusing to. Needless to add why I posted the link. Concerned consumers already know...

A villain rural doctor (public) in Greece decided to fill his pockets with money by charging 10 Euro for each prescription!

Let's hope soon the ministry of health will take prompt action so he gets sucked, stripped of his medical license, and lead to prison.

The road to dictatorship and fascism seems to be one way for Sri Lankan government:

A Magistrate court in Colombo Thursday ordered the ban of the trilingual website after the site was accused of posting an inaccurate news item...

The news item quoted the relatives of the suspects.

Subsequently the website carried an apology admitting the news item was inaccurate.

Athens: Policemen of Delta Force were arrested for attacking a coach car with supporters of AEK team. They denied it and sued the driver but policemen of Z Force confirmed the incident. Anyway that was the least of the horrible events that took place during the final game for the Cup of 2011 between AEK and Atromitos. See here a small part of them:

Stupid and strange. Started off as an altercation, then random beatings, then lots of beatings, tear gas, then fires everywhere. Crazy!

If you are interested there are many videos floating in Youtube. What is odd is that the opponent of AEK was Atromitos: a minor team. Unthinkable that AEK supporters would attack them. Yet they did. It is crazy and unexplainable.
