some missions are created from scratch  few are changed  a little  , different tilesetss added bases etc.

bases can be deleted and created again so there is no problem with  qualification of maps. so they should be used. for not only for test purpose.  when we get green light we will create all missions from  complete start

I thought i would share some maps in this section

Here is a remake of the O9V1 and V2 maps.

Somethings i added in these maps:

1.) Ordos base is setup with buildings already, so no wasting time on that.

2.) Mercenaries have a better stronghold. I.E. Construction Yard, Barracks, Light factory, additional turrets etc.

3.) I replaced the ordos base and mercenary bases with the Harkonnen and atreides, so no you occupy the Southern part of the map in V2.

4.) Slightly fortified the enemy bases.

Things that i know that need fixing:

There are alot of mis-placed textures, i know. Im using an old version of shai halud, so I cannot really tell what im placing down. Its hideous i know  :-X

Gotcha, i though amiga may have set this up for all player made campaigns, Would you mind telling me which version of shai halud you are using, and the link, thanks :)

after computer crash i lost all data (had to get new hdd)  i forgot post/topic where was  hexeditor that was builtin into properties when you right-click any file i need to test something

Well of course you can, it would just be very slow and painful.

i will develop empty map for campagin  purpose only.  it will be strange very strange map

post will be updated or just new one with map file

mission : Operation : Deep Throat .

its completily new map  that need be equipped with AI bases.  terrain is  very good condition less errors, most of  things are same. i needed as fast as possible.

things that can be found on map

1. Y - yur base

2. A - ally base

3. E - Enemy base

4. ET - Enemy turrets

i made some sandworm traps dont change!!

i named it as harkonnen mission 10  version 2.  it should be revenge of house ordos .  some story shortened

1.  at harkonnen mission 8  ordos has been defeated but not destroyed, they retreated to their moon paleri . mercenaries  camp has been conquered by harkonnen troops.  technology has been exchanged, mercenaries can now have devatstator and missile tanks, you get raider and deviator also  devastator  too.  third ally is smuggler  they were cheated by ordos as they just took their money.  their base is almost destroyed and need be defended.. ordos allied the atreides and their  fremens .  ordos has only two allies  atreides and choam.  , atreides were allied  same.  howewer  technology share happened.  ordos can build sonic tanks and missile tanks, atreides  can get deviators and raiders.

is it possible to set  defeat on destroyed ally base? if yes it could be good  .. ..map is secured from  harvester hunting , all base starts have their own spice bloooms so  harvesters will not go to enemy for spice.  map contains random spice.

at end of story for mission 10. since emperor has been thrown out from non agression pact. it has asked house harkonnen for ally, they  had already allies with others and  harkonnens knew that emperor was betrayal and insidious.

on map should be  like

enemy area

30% atreides

20% choam

50% ordos

ally area

40% harkonnen

40% mercenary

20% smugglers

and smugglers  need to be attacked by few sonic tanks.  harkonnen will need send  like 12 trikes.  i calculated  as 12 trikes can shot  4 sonic tanks when trike just stand face to face.

mission objective should be defend remaining of smuggler camp, defend mercenaries. locate and defend emperor base , destroy ordos base, destroy atreides base and their kings fremens,  capture choam starport
