Tournament- Please voice your opinion

I have tried to contact DuneNewt by IM here at dune2k, and his thru Email to no avail. It would seem he has gone missing.

I would like to know if the members here would like me to take over and get this thing going. I would just need enough time to contact the players and make up the new list. I would still be offering the same prizes to the winners.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! Don't get me wrong, I am not in any way pointing a finger at Newt. It's just that I see the disappointment in the members at the delay. I know how how life can get sometimes. He may be jammed up at work or school and be to busy to deal with this. (It is only a game, after all) Or God forbid, he may have taken ill or something. We just don't know.

So let me know what you think.

Still don't know which map and setts we were supposed to play on and can't see it anywhere.

I'm away on holiday soon myself, so would need to get this thing played next week or after two weeks.  ;)

2 Alchemi, when do you go on holiday? I am going on holiday to the Caribbean for the first half of August as well. So it will either have to be done in July or after I get back.

Dunenewt, perhaps you can use the wiki for information about the tournament. I know it isn't exactly meant for it, but it could be nice to have page detailing the rules and matches' schedule/results.

now ure problem voodoo is not that people dont want to reply to you but i guess

the players who singed for that list are not around anymore .. i hardly see anyone

on the server anymore and they wont be up to anything after what happend ..

personally i wont ...

i think newet made it worst than it is ....

Well Spicy perhaps your right, we will just have to wait and see. I sent a personal message, or email, to everyone on the list, telling them about the new start date. Two things are CERTAIN though, the tourny WILL start July 13th, and SOMEONE WILL WIN THE PRIZE.

It may be an old player or it may be a new player, who knows ;).

Perhaps after after the members see that I intend to see this thru and that I have plans for more in the near future, the enthusiasm will increase. XaarKhan pointed out that there are people playing Emp thru X fire, (I haven't had a chance to reply to that post yet but I think it's an EXCELLENT idea) and I am seeing a lot of new Nik's on RA's who's online page when ever I check that. I just need to figure out a way to get them all to come here. Not that everyone has to sit around and post here, but just so all the new players have 1 central community.

I have had a lot of responses to my emails and PM's. All Positive!

Also Leo is coming back from Holliday and has asked to join. So one way or another he's in. I just added him to the list.

Anyone else out there want in? Just post here or my Tourny thread.
