veK
GRID is not really realistic like a good driving simulation (GTR). It's more an arcade racing game. Still, it's nice game and it also got good reviews.
jeff2429
Friend of mine is really into racing games and has the driving wheel controller and all. Said it's graphics are sweet and all but multiplayer is killer. Think I might head over and try it out this week.
Megashrap
That's what I need for this game. It's a bitch trying to steer with just the arrow pad,but still fun.
jeff2429
I do alright driving cars with the 360 controller but can't imagine trying to use a keyboard.
Megashrap
how much do those cost?
jeff2429
I just bought my friend's old one for $20 after he got a new one so I have no idea. I've seen Logitech ones up around $100 I think. A new 360 one cost $100. A nice PC one should be a lot more expensive I'd think.Damn just looked and saw a Logitech G25 racing wheel for $300. jeff2429
That one should suffice. Who would buy a $300 one anyway unless they were a huge racing fanatic.
Megashrap
Are there any other type of controllers to use besides the steering wheel controller?Would something like this work for steering...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826127204
jeff2429
Using the analog sticks on those controllers is pretty easy for driving, just depends on how easy you get the hang of it. Definitely better then using a keyboard.
