its a long time since i was here, but i feel something like homesick :)

In this moment, i am starting to re-install emp...so if tere is some1 on when i am finished, than letz test, what i missed 1 year.

hmmm, have big problems with running the game....i have the same machine i always had, also with win XP and SP2.....maybe new installed, but it should be the same.

i installed, and patched to 1.09. than i started, saw the starting up movies, and always when i come to the offline lobby (singleplayer/,multiplayer) the whole machine freezes, so that i have to press teh resset button :(

after searching dune2k, i tried smaller screen resolution coz i had a smaller screen bacjk in teh days, i tried 16 bit and compatibility mode without succsess...

right now im searching for new sis drivers

any other ideas?

Could be your version of Xwis have you changed the IP address and is it old or new version.

With my Emperor 1st time i start it up it always goes non responsive but if i close with with task manager and then restart it, it works fine! Still haven't worked out what causes that.

Oh and good to see you back Kalony, hope to see you on-line once you get sorted.  ;D ;)

Try hitting crtl alt esc. then crtl alt delte and end the programt hen try and get on again. Thats what i've done when taht's happened.

nah, its not the game wich freezes, its the whole PC. i cant hit any keys :)

hey guys, plz help me as fast as you can, coz i am just a step away....i finaly got emp working after installing older drivers :)

but now, i tried to come online, and downloaded the xwis tool. but when i double klick it, it says, that it cant be run.....whats that????

Try to get old version off someone on MSN that worked for Mord and Yuoko, i believe.

If you're using Zonealarm, quickly allow it before you start the game. The game is not alt+tab or anything friendly at all when Zonealarm is asking for permissions.

Hey Kal, I just emailed you a good XWIS tool. From what I hear the new ones from strike team don't work. I sent it to the address we used to use when talking about music. (krieger-musik.de) if that one is no good any more, let me know.
