I've always marvelled at how people can play the guitar. It's really hard for me. And I'm more comfortable with piano and keyboards :P

As for the next two songs... the wonders of double-tapping. Eruption was done very prettily! I liked Cathedral too. You should have watched that video on Eddie playing Cathedral which suddenly became Hot For Teacher. Excellent stuff!

I've played guitar since I was around 10 I believe it was. About Cathedral, the key is using a delay effect and turning the volume knob up n down with your right hand while only using your left hand for fretting. This give the Chello effect...It's a very hard piece to get right. I think I missed a note or 2. Now I play with a band once in a blue moon, but I have many recordings of me playing stuff here at home.

So it's sort of like playing a keyboard and manually varying the volume with a pedal, except that now your left hand is fretting by playing the "keys" ie tapping, and right hand adjusting the "pedal" which is a knob?

Brilliant. A pity I don't have an electric guitar to try it out with :- I'm more focused on the keyboards now, so there.

Yea, I use my right hand for turning the volume knob on the guitar up n down at a steady rate for the effect to work..It's sort of like chewing bubble gum and juggling at the same time.
