Sound + in game issu

Hello,

I just d/l the game and played it. during the westwood icon in the beginning, there should be a music rite? and in the game, there is no music, no sound from credit ticking, and also on certain comment like when the girl on atreides spotted ordos, then the sound stop working (everything). another issue is that when the radar activated, the game crash lol

I am using 6600 gt as the gforce, and Audigy 2 pro as the sound card. i am using 5.1 altec lansing and i am using pentium 4 3.00 gig. I did setup the game, and download the sound patch. still, it does not help. thanx.

What game? Be specific and tell us version #.

My first guess is the new version on Command and Conquer... ehh. what whas the name again.. tiberian wars or something like that??

I dunno how it would be Command and Conquer if "when the girl on atreides spotted ordos, then the sound stop working (everything).". I don't think C&C has to do with Atreides or Ordos. My guess would be Dune 2, Dune 2000, or Emperor. But really no idea which one since krepek didn't specify.

Most probably it's Dune 2 or Super Dune 2. I have experienced similiar sound problems as described above when playing Dune 2 under Windows, using DOSBox should help.

One post wonder? Well Emperor works on my 6600GT so it shouldn't be an incompatibility with that.
