Yesterday ( I think) came the news of the death of former Yugoslavian leader Slobodan Milosevic. During the autopsy there was found a substance that inhibited his cardiac medicines, causing a heart attack. His brother claims he has been killed.

The doctor that examined the body started to speculate thet Milosevic had taken the inhibitor in order to make his state worse so the transfer to Moscow would be approved.

I personally don't consider it a big loss. But ontopic, I don't think the Hague or whoever his murderers were(if indeed he was murdered), would be so stupid and brash. I think they knew that there were going to be repercussions, investigations, autopsies, attacks on them etc., so they wouldn't do it so openly and loudly. I'd opt for a slow-acting poison myself or something akin to that. So I don't think he was murdered. or at least I hope not, since then we live in a world run by idiots. Not counting Bush, of course.

I really wonder why the doctor who only had to say WHY he died started to speculate and throw the blame on the dead before the investigation is complete.

If this is true... the Hague tribunal is compromised.

well part of the WHY is explaining HOW it got there.  So its not totally off the wall for the doctor to extrapolate how the inhibitor got there.

But he doesen't have the authority to make declarations for the intended purpose of the inhibitor. That's what I say.

Firstly, why would someone poison Milosevic? He's been there for 4 years now, why now?

Second, Milosevic probably felt ill and wanted to go to Moscow in Russia for help, most probably because his wife and son were there, but also because he didn't trust the "west". To do this he needed to be more sick than he already was - thus he used whatever it was he used, but as it turned out he got himself poisoned.

There are simply no reasons in believeing any conspiracy theories if they haven't found anything that indicated that is the case.

I see... If it was someone from the west then everyone would jump sky-high of what happened.

Anyway, it is true that history is written by the vitors.

it has nothing to do with the west.... the guy was a criminal/tyrant whatever.... these people usually arent cared much for whether you are north, south, east, or west.  In addition, you must look at the facts... what did Milosevic have to gain by eating the inhibitor himself? He had much to gain.  What did the Hague stand to gain from his death?  Not much.  I think the doctor just used simple logic to explain the situation.  I think you would have to make an overwhelming case that somebody really wanted him dead and had something to gain from it in order for people to believe that it wasnt Milosevic trying to travel to Moscow.  But it isnt impossible that he was murdered.  So of course we can never know.  Describing his death as accidental suicide seems a bit more politically correct than saying someone conspired to murder him.
