What kind of place would be able to convert old film reels to VHS (or DVD)?  I mean, what would one look for in the Yellow Pages?  And also, how expensive would it be?

I'm just asking because my grandfather had an old camera, and we have a bunch of old films that are kind of just rotting in our basement.  It would be nice if they could be converted into a newer, more accessible format.

Here in Holland there are some Photo-developers (like 1 hour hoto stuff) that do that, just give m the film and the vhs or dvd and they will do it.

mind you they are not the avarage 1-hour-photo shops but the more expert ones.

Probably some stores int eh city that do that sort of stuff.

What about going to the CHUM building and asking if they can tell you where to go?  They've got to know about who does that stuff in the city.
