yikes a celeron huh? so really you got a 500mhz computer. yikes. thats worse than the old laggstock.

Well i am sorry that you are unable to afford a gaming computer... maybe one day we will see you online with a nice comp... its sad that in 2005 we still have obsolete computers

he say that because he lives in usa  or somthing here the network band which

can go down so bad that i need 5 minuts to load a web page like msn. i guess  the same thing gose for evry thing eals somtimes i need 3 min to upload 1 mb  and somtimes i need 15 min to load the same file

Huh? I didn't tell you that part, that must've been someone else.

I do know we tried a few games 1v1, and it was pure crap, from the start. You kept saying it was the server slowing you down, but thats not what is doing it, it's your PC. I had dial-up a while back, on occasion it might stutter a time or 2 but that was all it did. Just try and upgrade, then tell us how it does I guarantee it will be smoother. Even better if you get cable or dsl on top of the upgrade. BTW, Deepest sympathy on having that Celeron *shudders*.

well  another thing u 'could' do is disable the multitextureing in advanced settings

also dont share too much of ur system ram for it..32-64 should do

i ran ebfd on my old system with gf2mx 32m with a duron 600mhz and 386 mb ram and an audigy

with multitexture it ran slowwwwwww  but without multitex it ran full speed even at 1024/32/high/ although i dont think the colour depth really has any impact until u use multitex..if it does, its VERY small

sis is not nvidia afaik  ,silicon intergrated systems i believe

even a gf4mx or intergrated  nforce does better than a gf2

failing the multitexture speed bonus..which should be all u need

u could also try disabling the  compression..    add a -c switch to the cmd line  (although some do not recommend this as it leaves the textures uncompressed and takes up more vmem)but on the plus side it depends on how good the compression/support is on that chipset and gpu speed(i gave up on sis years ago so i dont know anymore)although this should be used as a last resort!! dont disable compression unless ur sure u have to coz it can really slow things down in certain sys  configs...

maybe also try updating ur vid and sound and agp  drivers...dx9.0c as well  failing all that even,  get a cheapo gf4 or ati card..under $60au if u can manage it :]

anyway like i sed..if u dont mind missing out of a big of eye candy..kill miltitexturing and dont use anisotropic filtering and antialiasing if uv got that turned on...also disable vsync might help a little.

as far as im concerned kind has a reasonable comp for emp but at the expense of multitex.ur in the same boat i was 6 years ago..been there done that...512/128 adsl as well here so y dont i lag badly..+ im further away explain that..  anyway good luck
