I need a driver...

Ever since I re-installed windows some time ago, my sound card hasn't been working - apparently because I haven't installed the proper driver. I can't find the CD with the driver on it, and I can't seem to be able to find the driver on the net either. So I need your help. I'm looking for a "Creative CT5880 Sound Driver" for a Gigabyte GA-7VRX motherboard. Does anyone know where I could find one? (the Gigabyte website was the first place I looked, but all their CT5880 drivers are not for a GA-7VRX motherboard, and none of their drivers for a GA-7VRX motherboard are sound drivers)

is a good driver website (same people different url). I got some from there before with my old computer.

Free registration is required, unless you use Firefox, then Bugmenot plugin works to auto login.

Pretty sure the driver is there, although look around the website as there may be several versions of it.

No, the driver didn't work, but, thanks to your directions, I stumbled upon the program "Driver Guide Toolkit", which was able to scan my system and determine which driver I needed for my sound card. It turns out I've been searching for the wrong driver all this time... stupid f***ing manual... >:( Anyway, Driver Guide Toolkit pointed me directly to the proper driver I needed. I downloaded it, installed it, and now my comp has sound again! :)

Try google. I found it like that. Its very easy to  find things like that. You obviously dont rely on search engines like I do !
