Anathema
Well some people are senile by the time they become 65, others are sharp minded at the age of 80. The only problem I see is when they get so old they're no longer in touch with current reality, but I'm not sure if that's what you mean. HasimirFenring
Why deprive yourself of your most experienced jurists if they're still at the peak of their abilities? Supreme court justices should serve as long as they are able, willing and reputable.
Edric O
I have a better idea: Supreme Court Justices should serve fixed terms rather than being appointed for life.Appointing anyone to any position for life is generally a bad idea, since it invites him to abuse his powers.
