anybody got this game?

what's it like and is it worth buying and playing? I just saw it today, never heard of it before but it looks very interesting...

I think I have it. Did not like it. It took too long for the AI to make their turns. I may be thinking of another game though.

I'm guessing it is priced cheap? It came in a pack worth $20 CAD for me. That was around 5 years ago.

Back in the day I enjoyed playing Proliferation, which is a free game. Although the graphics are out of date, gameplay was great.

That's the old PC version of the board game.  Yes, it sucked (unless you choose "Quick Ai" and have a REALLY fast computer, the AI is sooooo slow).

But if you are referring to the new RTS game, it is awesome.  I have raved about it before, but to reiterate:  Terriffic graphics, excellent gameplay, fun campaign modes.  I don't know about MP though.

Old version is great; better then the boardgame since it's automated, you don't have to "squeeze" anything inside of the tiles, and you don't need anyone else to play against if you don't mind the AI.

New one got me excited. Played it a few times, and it quickly became repeatative. It's nice looking and well done, but strayed from the board game too far. And (for me) has no "lasting" power. Quite a few things on it that I would have done differently if I had dev'ed it.

I think I mean the new one cause it's at full price, was placed along with the new games in the shop and the gfx on the back looked very good.

I think I just found a demo-version, I'll install it today and take a look at the game
