The Sims 2

I got this game for Christmas and I've been playing it regularly ever since.  I still haave the original Sims on my PC down in Edinburgh, but this game is sooooo much better than the original.  Does anyone else own it?  If not, I would suggest getting it.  It's so much fun, goddammit!  You go outside to watch clouds, maybe a satellite lands on your face. :D  You play games with Death to save someone's life.  You can customise every feature of your Sims to make freaky, green-skinned, boggle-eyed mutants if you want.  And the whole game is VERY custom content oriented.  There's a "Body Shop" program that allows you to make your own clothes, etc., and The Sims 2 website has loads of stuff uploaded by other owners.

Seriously, check out this game if you don't have it already.  It comes on 4 CD-ROMs, which means no DVD Drive required, as most new games do.  And when it's selling for as little as

Do they plan on coming out with 20 expansion packs?

And if so which one would you like/want to buy?

I never got into the Sims. Not that I have time anyway.

As far as I know, the plan is to release no expansion packs this time. Of course plans change...

I quite enjoy the Sims 2, but probably for all the wrong reasons. I have Bene Gesserit-esque breeding programs. ;D

Love the game.........just my computer isent up to the challenge. Only way to play the game and have any fun is for me to get some more RAM and a awsome graphics card.

I have it, and i was critically dissapointed.  :'(, im a big fan of the sims, buuut, i really dont know why i wasted 29 EUROS on this. For gods sake, everything in this (cept maybe cheat death) you can do in real life. Go outside and get A LIFE!
