Ok jsut got all my new parts in hand *DROOLS* and what i would like to do is this, I have a new maxtor 40gig, I want to, and please correct me if this is wrong its just been awhile since i've had to do this.  I want to take the new oneplace it in casenext to my other one which is master, set the new one to slave, boot up open drive image, and image the brand new one with a clean install should take all but 10 min. However, ive already got the 2 drives in and working but, when i boot up in my comp. it doesent show the new one as slave, but it does in device manager so basically when i go to drive image to do this i still dont get the option to use the new hdd. any sugg.would be great, and i know im probably overlooking somethin lame that i may have missed. anyhoo, tnx in advance.

You mean the newest version, or the new version ? I thought version 8 was out a little while ago. Is it the first one released after Symantec brought them out ?

As I said many times before, if you don't know what you're doing, don't do it at all. One thing set wrong and you screw your comp. Again, don't...
