Westwood following the D.E.?

Sure we know about house ordos. that it is in there and the crest of house ordos from the westwood games is from the crest of house wallech in the D.E. But get this. It gives a complete history of Gunseng Harkonnen. He lived 200 years before paul atriedes. is it not meant to be done? or is it actually following the saga from the D.E.?

Gunseng was Vladimir's father, IIRC.  My opinion is that the script guys simply used the names of characters from the DE.  I don't think they actually intended them to be the same person.

No gunseng was not the father of vladimir. Vladimirs father was Dimitri. I have read it in a dune book

First, we were referring to the Dune Encyclopedia, in which Gunseng is Vladimir Harkonnen's father.

Second, do not bring back old threads unless you have something worthwhile to add to them.

but Baron is a cool guy, and asks a lot of good questions. And it was just a problem with lack of communication anyways, that is what it seems like.

Sorry Baron if this thread wasent clear, I am infamous for being nebulous with my typing. We are talking about the DE, as you know by now.lol In the DE there is a complete line of harkonnen rulers, and some of the harkonnen family that broke away. There is also a good portion on Gunseng Harkonnen, the father of Vladimir Harkonnen in the DE.
