THE MURDER

SO I don't do this all that often but I just wrote a short story.  I thought about posting it in fan fic but I dicided it belonged here more.

The two where on there way to the State Federal building.  As the mom and young daughter approached the building they noticed that it was swarming with guards, guards that where armed to the teeth with every weapon imaginable and some beyond imagin.  They where wearing riot gear with black dimmed visors and bullet proof vests.  Every one had on head sets and heat seeking goggles as well as the emblem of the U.S Flag on his right shoulder, with the words outlined in gold,

Heh heh, man...I don't like Bush, but not quite THAT much ;D. Interesting story, though I doubt anyone is fucked up enough to explode a nuclear bomb on their own territory to destroy some ballots...seems like overkill. Plus, by doing that "The Crazy Cowboy" would be destroying his empire, and who wants that?

Also, just wanted to brings something up also:

"It has been at least 15 years since the last terror attack on the homeland"

"The murder stayed in office for another 4 years.  4 more years then where allowed for all other presidents"

Doesn't quite fit in with time parameters. Presidents can only be in office for a maximum of 10 years or 2 terms.

It's two terms or 10 years, so for example, if a vice president has to take over for a dead president and runs as president for 2 years, he can still be reelected for 2 more terms, making it a total of 10 years. However, if he is in office for more than 2 years, it limits it to only one more term.

"The 22nd Amendment

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

Read the last part of that carefully. You can act as a President for 2 years and then be elected for 2 four year terms, adding up to 10 years.

That is why I said 2 terms or a maximum of 10 years.

so like if you are a vice presdent and for some reason you become presdent then you can act for two years.  and then you can run and act as presdent for 8 years or two terms right?
