SP2 ? No.

That will be Longhorn, out end of next year...maybe !

But not normal XP with SP2.

Whats a persay ?  :O your tawkin to common muck here. plain English's wot u need 2 use  ;)

As far as I know, most AMD's CPU's are able to run 64bit and 32bit stuff. So it doesnt work with XP ? I would be very surprised.

Quite right too, as there is no Windows OS that runs in 64 bit mode yet. It is in development I think though... And SQLServer does run in 64bit mode if you want  :D

If you wondered, AMD 64 has both 32 and 64 bit capabilities.

All present Windows versions run in 32 bit mode, but the 64 bit processors are not a waste.

They do have some untapped potential, though.
