Vanguard3000
They're Hare Krishna, a Buddhist order of monks, I believe. I guess such religious bashing got a little too hot for them after releasing GTA. In GTA: London 1969, they're a marching band, I think, and in GTA2, they're Elvis impersonators.I always like getting a skidding Gouranga! - that is, killing them all while skidding. Not only do you get the Gouranga!, but you also make all those nice red stains. Mmm... red...Andrew, there is a map editor for GTA3, but it's a separate and unsupported utility. It's also much tougher than making a GTA level would be.
Andrew
True. I just miss Burger City (best map/graphics/sound made). Even though the city was small.Don't think I can find a download of it on the net! Good thing I have it on a cd somewhere.Seems the only old GTA website I remember that is up (but not updated) is Junction25http://www.crg.cs.nott.ac.uk/~jcp/junction25/index.htmlAnyone still plat GTA1 ?Multiplayer anyone? That was awesome! And I guess GTA1/2 is free according to azz.gouranga.com, but you have to sign up to some crap....wtf?
Super-ness
TO play?
Vanguard3000
No, you need to type in your email at the Rockstar Classics website. Then they email you the download link, which is only active for a day or two for you. I tried downloading it myself, as this version of GTA apparently has some added compatibility (although it's unsupported), but the server was always too busy.Junction 25... I thought I submitted a car I made there a long time ago. It must not have been very good, because I never got a reply. :(
NHJ BV
Well, ofcourse 3D is much more difficult to edit than 2D. That's one of the downsides of 3D games...An I remember Burger City, it rocked :DThere was also another great mod, which had two cities in it, but I forgot it's name. There were highways, there was a prison, it was pretty big.

Andrew
These screenshots are 3D, no?hehe.Anyone play online ever with GTA1?I did once. the race was fun, and also trying to kill each other.
NHJ BV
I never played it online, but I did play it often with a friend of mine over LAN. One pretty useful tactic in Liberty City was to get a rocket launcher, get in a bus, park but in front of alley with only one entrance, then go in entrance and wait. As soon as the other guy jumps over the bus, shoot it :)
