erjin999
I can scroll back and look for it....Found it.A conversatoin between Duncan Idaho and Lord Leto II..."What did my Fish Speakers say?""They said you're God. Why do you call them Fish Speakers?""An old conceit. The first priestesses spoke to fish in their dreams. They learned valuable things that way.""How do you know?""I am those women . . . and everything that came before and after them."So it was "talking to fish...in their sleep" I missed that bit ! Ninja_Sher
I got a fresh new question :Did Leto III ( Leto II is Paul's 1st son ) knew that he would die by a duncan or did he plan stay alive longer? If he planned to stay longer than for what reason and when would he have 'gone back' to the desert?

He bred the Atreides line so that they would be invisible to prescience, and Siona masterminded that plot (as I recall). By the way, you really ARE talking about Leto II. Paul's first son does not count because he was never head of the family, he was only Leto Atreides, never Duke or Emperor Leto II. Only count those that held office.
