Running Emperor below recommended Specs

I have a p2 333 MMX processor, I've been running Emperor on it for a while now, It seems to run the game ok, the units move at a decent speed and there's no real slow down. the thing is, the game likes to lock up often, I was wondering if anyone else has had this and has been able to fix it?

I have this same problem, mine is Celeron 400, 256 RAM, GeForce 2 MX and game is running but havily locking up.

HMM, I have 128 mb of ram, I Have a mate with a celeron, Apparently they have crap all caching, Improve the caching, and you'll probably fix your game.... Still, can anyone else help us?

What do you mean by "caching", you mean the second CPU memory?

I have a p2 with 300ghz. It runs fine unless there are hundreds of units walking around on the map

I've got an Athlon 600 with 160 MBs of RAM, and the game still jerks once in a while. I don't think there'll ever be anything done about that. It's probably not possible :(.

I have a PIII 1Ghz, 512 MB ram and a GeForce 2 MX, the game runs fine, except in the worm mission, when it screws up.

I don't know what video card I have because my parents replace it with new ones sometimes.(about the only thing they do upgrade) And I have 64MB of RAM. Of course I run it with the music off and a few other things that I've adjusted with the options.

dune just flies with 16-bit gfx and no shadows on a p600 with 128mb ram.

it runs fine on my intel p3 600mhz with 128mb ram, so it shuld run fine on urs ;D
