No sound

I've just installed EBD as the previous threads have outlined,ie copy setup folder from install disk, overwrite the setup file with the modified one. Then run the setup from the folder on my desk top and finally copy the new exe file after installation. Then update to 1.09. After all that the game works no problems with video, just no sound.

Has anyone come across this problem before and how can I fix it? I cann't select a sound option from within the game options tab only the level.

I have sound working on other games, I hope this is any easy fix.

can you attach a copy of your DirectX file so we can check which soundcard you have and find any possible driver errors more quickly. :)

XP had a wee hickup.  When I rebooted it all works perfectly. Hell of a game :) ,will need to spend time in single player mode for a while before going online.
