Things like distrans messaging (which if I remember right they came up with, the DE says so as well so I guess I feel that assumption is correct), to stilsuits. Also their use of synthetics from the spice melange. All sorts of things.Where did these technologies come from? It could be just inventions that sprouted from arrakis itself, but the DE says that many of these technologies had their origins in the great zensunni wandering. This would make sense as they would encounter many places and people along the way, and adapt accordingly.what do you guys think about this? They did come up with more efficent ways to conserve moisture but that is not really comparable to technologies found on Ix or Tleilax. I'd say they weren't the savages they were considered to be and were largely underestimated.I was just thinking, how did the Fremen aquire crysknives? Fixed knives revieved an electronic pulse so that they didnt have to be near the body of an individual to decompose.unfixed knives were those that needed to be around the electro-magnetism of the body, and was eventually specifically "tuned" in a way to that particular body. The dew collectors, stillsuits, and melange-polymer frictionless tubing (one of my favourite techs) are all examples of this. Other technologies would have been adapted or copied from regular techlogogies commonly found throughout the Imperium, such as distrans and glowglobes.
