How slower the gamespeed, how better you can micro, *BUT* how less the microskills differs from a less skilled micromanager and a better skilled micromanager, how less the 'click and point-speed' is needed, how less reacting skills(like countering) differs between a less skilled and a better skilled, how less an overall less skilled differs from an overall better skilled player.

So it may be more strategic(as in better controlling the micro), but it takes away a lot of skill(less difference in slower games),

and in my opinion the game is much more fun at high speed( i even recommend highest speed).

Hey, I like to think I am impartial here. For a beginner, it is easier for me to learn from the better players, but the difference between the better players and the "n00bs" is the fact that we can't cope at the high speeds most games are played at. Say for example, in a 1 on 1 vs...I dunno, Mordus, I will perform 3 actions in the time he would perform say 4...he is quicker, more decisive, and can react almost instinctively, something I would not be used to.

In a slower speed game, I would be able to play, like Rostok says, on a level-ish playing field.

If I am right in what I think Nav is trying to say (when he said no1 attacks for the first X mins), he is looking to play a more drawn out game, not slower speed, but one which lasts longer (but plays at full frame rate), then I agree, strategy would play a BIGGER part.

[Note: doesn't mean there is no strategy in quicker games]

Does the ability to make quick decisions and carry them out quickly separate the elites from the rest ? Whether it
