I have some compatibility problems with Norton. This is why I'm gonna get McAfee to get Norton out. If I install McAfee, am I ok with Afee only or should I complement with some other anti-virus?

I already have ZoneAlarm as firewall so it's really only for virus (or would it be useful to completement ZA with something else TOO??)

Thanks for your help on anti-virus (and maybe even firewalls).

using 2 virus scanners is not a good idea in the first place.

And next to McAfee anti virus you won't need another one.

but yea.. . get rid of ZoneAlarm and use another firewall.. . ..

personally I don't like ZoneAlarm as a firewall.. .it is to agressive for your system and still has a few bugs in it.

For a free firewall I would say to go with Sygate.

I agree.  ZoneAlarm can interfere with other programs, even if you've told ZA they're safe.  I had a feq games that would lock up the entire system if I ran them while ZA was still running.  Major pain in the butt.

I recommend Sygate.  I haven't had a single problem with it.  Ever.
