I currently have two fragmented files that will not be defragged.

I noticed them less than a week ago.

Are they important/critical windows files?

I hate when things don't defrag cause I want my computer running 100%

Fragments      File size      Most fragmented files

32              1,995 KB        WINDOWSServicePackFilesi386ntoskrnl.exe

30              1,881 KB        WINDOWSDriver Cachei386ntoskrnl.exe

Also check attached for other defrag info.[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

The are thr Windows NT kernel. :)

With Windows NT not all file will be defragmented. . . if would really like to still defragment them I could look if there is a special programm that can do that. ?

How much free disk space did you have left on the partition you were trying to format?

I once had a file that was over 200MB that wouldn't defrag, and the space left on the disk partition was 15%. I cleared the disk space to 30%, tried again, and the entire partition defragmented. :)
