Winamp 5

Well I got it, and it is a good program.

I just hope that it doesn't turn into crap with ads and such like ICQ did. (and bloated, the ad takes up 1/2 the program window :() Cause I do not know anyone on the Island that actually uses ICQ anymore, its all msn.

The sad thing is aol/timewarner is now pumping out skins etc for their shows and they have to be advertised among actually good skins.

I must have missed something in the last few months as I don't remember winamp being a big advertising machine (no popup ads yet thank god), although adding the winamp pro is just the first step in putting ads into winamp itself IMHO.

The best improvement in winamp 5 in my opinion would be the video. (some songs are good to watch)

Any ideas/comments on winamp5?

I like the new fadeout feature when you stop playing a track or close the program down. :)

It's better than W3, just it lacks crossfading, and its visage is also worse. Do you know how to make it to look exactly like W3? But when we see DivX support in standard or how quickly it starts, I lose arguments. By the way, do you know someone about WinAmp 4?  ???

They skipped 4 in a marketing ploy by AOL. winamp 2 plus winamp 3 =5.
