A quick newbie question (regarding walls)

Does anybody else use the tactic of deploying mortars/kobra and then building walls around them? This protects them from direct-fire weapons, but do people think this is worthwhile?

No, not really, you will be distracted with building walls instead of building other structures and units, and besides; they're going to attack with Mino hordes/Tanks/Lasers, so walls won't do much.

I have a good exsperice with this lol I remmber facing zilents and he was ord and I was hark  just the game b4 I went fac first against him and beat him. Then , we had a rematch , same everything I went fac first again  but this time he had morters surrounded in walls and killed my buzz ,and he won because of that. So i guess once in a blue moon its worthwhile lol.

surrounding mortars in walls is only good for stoping a hark rush... and nothing else... however would be better just to find some nearby  infantry rock instead.
