The Dune Emulator (board game)

I stumbled across this today, probably was mentioned before.

This is a game based on Avalon Hill classic boardgame 'Dune' for the PC.

It worked on my computer pretty good (don't try changing it to windows version ;))

Seems interesting although I got class and exams soon, so no playing it for me.

And it suposedly has multiplayer capabilities!!

I wanted to give it a try, but apparently it doesn't work on my Win2000 machine. It goes in... and back to the desktop a second later.

Anyone knows how to arrange that?

I'm not sure, does win 2000 have compatability modes?

Maybe try DosBox, which is supposed to run Dos games in windows. (I have no idea how to run Dosbox.)

I think it would be a good online game to play, but its kinda late now for me. What is the average game length? I also don't know how to play :P

I found it very confusing to play. But playable.
