Campaign Maps?

Just been wondering. Is there any way to use the campain maps? Because some of them are really nice ones. Somewhow it should be feesable. Since we are messin with files n such. just curios.

I'm working on that right now. :) I'll let you know what the results are in a few moments right after I test it out.

EDIT: Unfortunately, the campaign maps apparently lack starting positions that are required for skirmish maps. You can extract them into the correct directory to make the game see them in skirmish mode, but when you try to play on them it will say that the map is 'Too small for this many players'. Even with two players.

Therefore, it's not possible to play the campaign maps in skirmish, either single or multiplayer.

If I could somehow gain access to the .dme template files that were used to create the campaign maps, then I could easily modify them and recompile the campaign maps to work in skirmish.

Hmm I seem to remember Stealth making one of the campaign maps work for multiplayer. I can't remember how he did it though.

I figure it must have took him some time because he was looking at doing all the maps but there wasn't enough interest.
