ok this is so annoying....

when im on the internet i get bombarded by pop-ups from "messanger service" at random

and the annoying thing is it minimizes w3 when im playing it

is there any way to stop them?

Do you have Kazaa installed?

Get ad-aware to get rid of spyware.(although some programs that require the spyware such as kazaa won't work anymore)

I used to get the same thing till I changed the settings on my firewall and that seemed to block them out.

this is the correct way to stop the pop-ups.

START,SETTINGS,CONTROL PANEL,ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS,SERVICES,scroll down to messenger,right click it,and select properties,then select disable service.you may have to reboot,this will not affect windows messenger,it just dissables the pop-ups.

(i knew my computer maintenance course would come in handy one day) ???
