I get this error every once in awhile randomly from the various pages I visit. Now it gives me the option to debug, which I have tried before and it opens up some program to do it. The application just ends up sitting there for four hours doing nothing, processing and taking out no tasks and then when I exits it says "are you sure you wish to stop debugging?"

Any ideas how I could fix this?[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

A Runtime error is an error that occurs during the execution of a program. In contrast, compile-time errors occur while a program is being compiled. Runtime errors indicate bugs in the program or problems that the designers had anticipated but could do nothing about. For example, running out of memory will often cause a runtime error.

Note that runtime errors differ from bombs or crashes in that you can often recover gracefully from a runtime error.

These annoying messages about errors can easily be turned off.

I find no reason for them to pop up on everyone's screen when the page loads perfectly anyway...

Anyway, here's how I did it:

* Click on the "Tools" roll-down menu on the top of Internet Explorer.

* Click on "Internet options".

* Choose the "Advanced" tab.

* Scroll down until you find the "browsing" or "viewing" (I don't have English Internet Explorer, so I guess names here) subtopic.

* Make sure everything with HTTP-Error and Script Error in it is unchecked.

Now, this should remove all the stupid and annoying error messages ;D

To be more specific, be sure "Disable Script debugging" is checked and that "Display a notification about every script error" is NOT checked.  Here's a pic to clarify:

Hmm, it seems as that list changes from language to language...

Or is it version to version?

Anyway, I have different options.

That list there has always been a mystery to me...
