can't get dune to work

EDIT: it seems that my link brings you to the first page.

then i'll instruct you where to go: click on abandone on the left of the page.

then scroll down till you see the name "dune 1" click on download.

below it is dune2, you can download that for free as wel ;)

changed compatibility to win95, 98, 2000, etc. doesn't run on any of them. I get to the first screen, purple face thing, and it stops there. turned off norton, nothing. deinstalled norton, nothing...

went to my office, downloaded onto win2k. plays fine.

When you de-installed Norton, did you also re-install Dune ?

Also, could you attach your dxdiag ?
