S.O.S Can`t find server on the Cd-rom

I`m in serious trouble,I think, cause when opening the multiplayer options in game options the server flag wan`t show the servers that are avalible.That means that the server box is empty :O :'(.So I don`t know what to do or what kind of files that need to be checked.

Anyone got an idea what to do?

well the problem started after I downloaded the xcl proxy file,but can that have anything to do with it,don`t think so.I even bought a new game cause I thought I maybye had destroyed the other cd-rom.

yes,but I only get the message " Timed Out ",and now I can`t even get in to the login lobby.weird.

Are we talking about Dune emperor and is the file the file needed to play on the Fed2K servers ?

We are talking about Emperor the battle for dune.The file or files I`m talking about is the one needed to even get online and to see whos in the lobby.I`ve done changes in the HOSTS file,to get registred on the fed2K ladder,did tree games no problem they were registred.Is there anyone having the originally files in HOSTS,maybye it can be something wrong there.This is how it looks right now:

doesn't seem right to me. ...

According to Gobbies word this should be added to the host file,but now I cant even get in the log in lobby.proably some files are lost :'(

Try re-installing the game (after you've uninstalled).

it should be aadded if you want to play on the Fe2K servers I think. . could be wrong though.

Just to be shure, do you want to play on the Westwood or the Fed2K servers ?

De-install EBFD, then re-install your OS over the current one. Then re-install EBFD again.

Ok,it did`nt work with that overlay,locked the whole pc.Formatted and installed OS again now it seams to work hiii haaaa.Goint to try out some games now.puh ha.
