Is there a server where people meet to play? Other than westwood, (if such thing is possible).

I went and retried that save game. It worked. The only time that happens I think is when there is a sand storm in that piece of territory.

Of course if we look at the real side of warfare. There is nothing much to it other than attack/defense stuff, napalm the trench and wait for the other side to respond stuff. So that "justifies" dull attack/defense stuff on the map. WW should have made the amount of money you get in the mission before final to depend on number of territory pieces that you have and so on. Reinforcements. Harkonens in the final mission were out of place kinda because they were not in the cut scene. And really, does defeating the worm automatically defeats harks. I would so much love to chew through their capital with some of my units.

A couple of machine gun posts are great against light vehicles too. Including they help to an extent with lazer tanks. In my final missions for As I found it much more useful to scatter them across the building aread because those pain in the butt lazer tanks get inside the base on high speed and maneuver like a motherf------ around my units. Litter the place with wind traps too. It helps to stop their fast movement and makes them do a lot of corners.

Actually I wanted to anninhilate them piece by piece.

Taking every piece of territory around the capitals of ordos and harks didn't really matter after all. Ehhh That was so much fun though.

I can't play harkonens, after I beat ordos homeworld. This is bs. I killed the friggin worm. Took me a bit, but I beat the mission on the first try. The game was getting horribly slow in the worm mission. I guess 512 ram really is not enough.

I was on 22.xx and on 21.xx. I upgraded and tried gradually. It is not that bad though with 23.11.

Hmmm not really it has to be paired with AA turrets to be effective. A couple of drones will smoke it.

I don't know if I still have that save game, but sure. I already took both pieces of territory from Ordos.

it is at least 8.0 for direct x and as for drivers they don't crash any other games q3, dirty dozen and so on.

I have tried to attack a piece of territory that was crucial to my mind. It would cut off a piece of ordos territory that was currently unavailable due to sand storms. And if i captured that piece the piece with sandstorms would be completely surrounded by my territory. So i eliminated the enemy and when I returened to the map of the planet, the sucker is still marked as a piece of ordos territory. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I guess there is no way around it. That was a nice practice session. :)

i have a 1.4Ghz AMD Athlon with Epox 8kha+ 512ram, win xp, with all latest VIA 4in1 +agp and ide drivers, nvidia refernse drivers 23.11. The only thing that is bothering me is emperor crashes 90% of the time on startup but is fine on the second try. I have to ctr alt del it. Sometimes it quites in the game to screen all of the sudden. Particularly at the end and start of the mission. 1.08 patch is applied.

Yeah I have the guide too. Purchased it but not really reading. I have reinvented my own strategies.

I could have sworn that AIR defense Platform fired on my ground units in one mission. I thin it also fired on the units that were placed on the elevations. Is it true or I am smoking too much spice lately???

Tleilaxu leeches are good to infect hardvesters and dismay the economy until death comes in the form of a whole bunch of sand bikes guarded by repair vehicles. Harks are most vulnerable to this attack because they can't repair(Which is gey). Other than that tleilaxy creations are useless for attack on a base. A single machine gun tower will take out the army of t's.

i would say that minos are the best devastators are cool too but way too slow I also like the air defense platform. It is kick ass.
