Ok to answer the question why the Harvester replacement is wanted? I remember before 1.06, there would be a harvester reinforcement after your last one was destroyed. With out this condition, you need to quit the game since you have no more harvesters and can not afford one. PLUS the AI gives up after its harvesters are all destroyed (It sells all of its buildings). I would like to the change 1.06 did to what file to cause harvesters to stop being replaced. @Nuclear_harvester, the prac_mis file contains the house indexes, starting credits and alliances. Adding events/conditions have no effect. @akafedykin, Yes, I remember that feature was implemented before 1.06, and I have no idea where that info would be located

Well I would love to know where it is located. The change 1.06 made to practice completely made facing AI, and also gameplay, diminished. As soon as the last harvester goes...so does the game

Yes i figured as much. The Dune2000.dat also contains the AI coding for Skirmish as well as many other behaviors that are UN-touchable by MVI's mission editor.

Ah so its 1.06 I had a feeling it would be the patch that did this. I was confused, i booted up dune 2000 after a while, played a quick skirmish with some AI. My harvester was eaten by a worm...Im sitting there waiting for the "Reinforcements have arrived" message ??? , Would you know what file this would be coded in MVI?

Are you 100%? I could of sworn there was a replacement. I found it very peculiar after the AI's last harvester was destroyed, it sold all of its buildings and then went berserk. Gonna see if this can be changed in the .mis file

You do get a harvester replacement in practice. In mission mode it has to be added manually with event editors. How ever in practice mode, I think its Hard-Coded in one of the data files. Its not the prac.mis file, you can only change the alliance settings and the main AI behavior. Im going to have to tinker around with some of the files to see which one it is. If any one happens to come across it let me know, thanks.

Hey everyone. Im having a little problem with practice mode. My harvester replacements have stopped working. When your last harvester is destroyed, there is no reinforcement drop for a replacement, so I was wondering what file would have this data? I ask so I can replace it maybe with a back up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks general. I recommend re-downloading the link though, There were some changes I made to Harkonnen missions, some terrain and triggers were messed up. Enjoy!

I didnt mean just the campaign, I meant for everything. The skirmish AI as well as the specific coded AI for campaign. I would love to be able to see what each of the segments do

I honestly did not notice it. Fixed. Just one Alliance folder now. I dont know why there were so many alliance folders.

Ok added the new ZIP file for Alliances to the first post. Modified all the mission files and should be working, but again, do not hesitate to post feedback/suggestions/bugs and errors on here to let me know. Have fun!

I want to crack down on AI more than anything. We need to figure out what many of the AI segments do by changing and testing them in game.

Its funny I was actually talking with him a few weeks ago when I was modding Dune2 as well. Maybe ill mention it to him, see if he is interested.

Losing MVI from the Dune2000 engineering is like losing the heart of a body. But everything said, Cant blame you MVI, we all have things in our lives that keeps us pre-occupied. I try to come on time and time to keep things going, but like you said, its difficult to get around to. How ever I love this game and this community, so im gonna stick around.

Im actually almost finished. Just a few more maps to update and all done. I should have it up by tomorrow.

Redux means 'brought back' or revisited. Pretty much an alternative way to the campaigns for each of the houses. Also Its just h3v1 on that post, so you do not need to update it. Just to let everyone know on this post, I will be updating all my campaigns again.

Download Dune 2000, and just use the mission folder to replace/store in your Dune2000 folder

What version of Dune2000 do you have installed and on what system are you using. I recommend download the grunt mods edition of dune2000. Will do. Actually fixing this one up and also about half way done with a Smugglers campaign

Im actually going to fix those problems and re-release it. I made this a while ago so I need to fix some things. But ill keep you posted. EDIT: Its gonna take some time to fix everything. Practically all the maps need work. I remember remaking them all and fixing them but for some reason Vista wanted to delete my Dune2000 files from my desktop so its gonna be just a bit before I get another release up

Since there is no actual 'house' for a sandworm, It seems westwood implemented another faction for control over the sandworm. How ever if you switch the house index to 07, that is the default sandworm faction color.
