Spike

While i've only visited this site recently, i played Dune 2 and Dune 2000 when they were first released. I've read all the Dune novels so far, tho i vastly prefer the original Frank Herbert books. So there.

Hobbies: Reading, gaming (RTS and FPS), music/clubs (heavy metal), drawing (www.btinternet.com/~william.bloody , click on drawings), an abondoned Jdoom project (see above site), and painting Warhammer 40k Tyranids. That's it for the shameless plugs.

1st Post : Reasonable novel with some great ideas. The execution, sadly, left a bit to be desired. Killing off so many characters seemed a bit OTT, though if the last part is set during the Battle of Corrin (i'm not sure if i'm entirely spot on with the timeline here), pretty much all the characters would be dead anyway, with the exception of the life-extended Vor Atredies.
