Did you know that if there was no war on Earth, since the beginning, now we could have colonised every start system in the galaxy?

I mean, those wars delayed everything! AND THE DARK AGES!

Oh, yeah, those endless wars in the middle ages, or the wars b.Ch. !! WWI and WWII developed science, I agree, but I mean those idiotic wars for plunder - Genghis Han! Or Attila.

For that I agree, the Dark Ages set us back enormously. I blame them for me not having my floating car.

What a lot of people do not realize, is that Armaggeddon is actually supposed to be the name of a battlefield. According to the bible, the last battle between Isreal/Christians and the Antichrist and his armies(everyone else) It will be the last battle, killing everyone that is left on Earth(Or wherever humans are at that point in time).

Then, I suppose it will be a battlefield concerning all humans whereever they are in this universe.

No, I don't think they delayed anything. Most of the scientists who invented things like electricity and industraliazation (sp?) were born when they were born. And beside, WW1 and WW2 was based on previous strategies, who were in turn based on even older strategies. It all fits. It's like blaming evolution for not "evolving" fast enough, or encountering ages such as the ice age in vain.

Dude_doc, they were just the first to discover/invent it. It could easily have been invented or discovered over the centuries of the Dark Ages if they continued the scientific adventures. We may even have technology we'd never think of, if the Dark Ages weren't dark.
