I noticed that my pc has only one fan that is attached to the power supply(besides the one for the processor). So I was thinking that maybe that's the reason why some programs in XP crashed pretty often. Those same programs in W98 works with no problems at all.

Well besides some input about that XP issue, I just wanted to ask if there is any special consideration I should have at buying an extra fan, since there is some place to put an extra one in my pc, I think (maybe I am wrong) that fans for pcs are standart, so what do you think ? thx.

In most ATX cases, underneath the power supply is a place where an extra fan can be added. Those fans should be available in any computer store...

Ex, try checking if that fan is wired up...
