Game Review Two: Command And Conquer Generals

If you may recall, I did an Earth2150 game review on the Fed2k Forums, and now I wish to continue the tradition with one for Command and Conquer Generals.

Storyline - Basically, a new war has started with three super powers going and each others throats. They are the now powerful and economically strong China, the now formed GLA terrorist group, and of course, the United States of America. Unfortunaly, there really isn't much information at ALL of WHY they are fighting or when it started so it's just a three faction free for all. Further more, there are no real movie scenes and basically, no plot.

Units - The units in this game are pretty creative to be truthful. Of course, it's a C&C title so there's going to be those classic names like "War Factory", but other then that a pretty new, in depth feeling. Also, when it comes to America EA threw in some real units like "Ranger" and a mobile Tomahawk launcher (Which isn't really an in-service American vehicle but it

Pretty good review. Though to be honest, the system requirements really aren't that high these days. And where did you get $60? It is not, nor has it ever been, $60. It hit the shelves at $40-$50. ???

I would say 85+%

Your review is very true. Their are many multiplayer issues that could have been done better and the campaign storyline is well awful. There has been talk of an expansion but that could be all heresay. If they do though maybe storylines will be added. I love this game for the multiplayer gameplay though. When you can get a game going that is 2v2v2v2 it can get really exciting. Overall I would rate it 85-90. If they would have took a little more time on the game and added a storyline and fixed some of the online problems it would easily be a 95-100.

My comp could have run it just fine if it weren't for my old Geforce II card. Anyway, you know that a game has to high specs when the community stays small because of it.
