Philisophical Poetry

[TMA_1]

This doesnt go into fan fiction because these poems have deeper meanings, at least to yourself individually. I dont want it in fan fiction because it wont be taken seriously. I want you guys to write or show already written poems about something universal or personal about your beliefs or beliefs of others. Or just about a theme that really strikes a cord inside that is really deep. Something that really makes you think and in the end helps you grow. That is why its apart of this thread. here is one I wrote.

Some memories, of summer and dawn

spring full flavored

touches the green lawn

of a time that wrapped the world

of a piece that they call peace

that sparkled like emerald

sparkled so free

places that frighten me

I wont accept your denial

or hopes of reprival

my hopes reveal my heart's desire for desire

of ice imbedded with fire

For sake of freedom and tyranny

make up the mind

and the love for kingdom and anarchy

leave your adulthood behind

my hearts content is full

wishing for a child's soul

lying on the green lawn

I say goodnight to dawn

closing the eyes to view

sparks and colors of blue

as deep and rich as emerald

spinning on the top of the world

Seldom do we see

the anger inside our fists

and hopes that bind the free

dawn within the mists

When adulthood breeds hollow hearts

I revert and convert to nonconformity

of childhood rebirth, I fall apart

We find our own simplicity

This one is about how childhood is in many ways so much better than being an adult. Things come simply and easily. There is no real hatred or anger, and if there is anger, only for a short time. Children seem to understand themselves and others so well because their ideas are perfect in simplicty. In many ways, children connect with the kingdom of God like no other people.

What about you guys? any prose, essays, or poems that talk about your own personal observations or beliefs, or just universal beliefs in general? I would love to hear them! :)

I know much more about the content than the form, therefore I am not the one who will be the best in puting in a nice form. So I will say that the sole existence itself, calm existence and exhuberence of truth, beauty and good, is the simplest adult form we can find, the simplicity brang back from all the complexity of mechanism. Just: being. Things are. They just are. Even if we don't understand them or don't understand them well.

A variety of things I have found strewn across my hard disc, from whatever source they may be.

Time can be thought of as a train, where everyone faces whence we came.

We see where we are as we go faster, though only clearly when too far after.

But there are those who can turn their heads, to see for sure where we are being led.

Called fools and cowards, they are neither, for they alone see we have no driver.

If there were no god, man would find it necessary to invent one.

But if there were no man, would god find it necessary to invent one?

In life I intend to respire - this consists of two actions: inspiring and expiring. I'm guaranteed the latter, but can only hope to do the former.

There are those who say history shows we are moving in circles. This is untrue. We are, in fact, moving in spirals. We spiral outwards and outwards, and at every turn we lose a little more control. Moreover, as we go round, we move so fast that many fall off, and we barely slow down to retreive the fallen - and only on a later cycle, forcing the unlucky to undergo the jolt of jumping a track or two.
