SpiceGuid
This one is by me.It is even more like a dragonfly.Instead of usual bird-like wings it has 4 wings that flap only horizontally.[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

FireSnake
That's pretty cool. ;)I'd make one too, but the Legos must be in the cellar or something. :( - Matthew
SpiceGuid
Actually i have not even used a single lego brick. All are 3D models and ray-traced.Here are the tools links (for Win95 or better). The lego file format i use is LDRAW, the most popular lego file format, with the biggest available 3D lego parts library.First, you need to install the LDRAW parts library:http://www.peeron.com/ldraw/complete.exeSecond, you need to install a lego modeller:http://www.lm-software.com/mlcad/Third, its convenient to install a lego OPENGL viewer:http://home.san.rr.com/tcobbs/LDView/Downloads.htmlFourth, you need to convert LDRAW format to POV:http://www.hassings.dk/l3/l3p.htmlFinally you need POV (i use version 3.1):http://www.povray.org/The ultimate LDRAW ressource is http://www.ldraw.orgUnfortunately this GREAT site is currently unaccessible. For install problems you can get help at http://news.lugnet.com/cad/Or just e-mail me, i will try to help.

SpiceGuid
Too many pieces of things to download....is there another way to do this? ???If you mean smaller size then no solution. If you mean less files then here is a single-step installation (20Mb+):http://www.ozbricks.com/jediagh/a_ldraw/installer/installer_ver_bw03.htmI tried it for a while this program, and it looks really good. Thanks. But there seem to miss alot of parts, is this right? When newcomer you have to dig to find parts. It already has more than 2000 parts and has regular part updates. Many missing parts are in the process to be included. When available new parts are distributed in a patch. Many missing parts already exist but they have to be collected, verified and then included in the next patch. Most Star-Wars parts, including Darth Vader Helmet, already exist.I have a link to download them but unfortunately this link currently does not work.I will post here when it works again. SpiceGuid
Too many pieces of things to download....is there another way to do this? ???Note that only first linkhttp://www.peeron.com/ldraw/complete.exeand second linkhttp://www.lm-software.com/mlcad/are actually necessary. All other links are only optional. You can download first and second then download others only if you think great stuff.
