Yes, my comp is named "Bob". :P

Anyways, here were my sys. specs:

1.8 GhZ AMD Athlon XP

512 MB DDR RAM

15" HP f50 flat-panel monitor

48x CD Drive

DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive

64 MB DDR RAM Nvidea GeForce 2 MX400

2.0 MB/s Cable connection

As you can see, my graphix card was, shall we say, lacking? No more! Today I bought a brand-new 64 MB DDR GeForce 4 Ti4200. Let the games begin! >:D

I haven't quite installed it yet, I'll update this when I do. ;D

Oh, but anyways, I got that card for $90 USD, regularly $170. Let's hear it for sales! ;D

Yeah. I'm afraid the monitor will still limit things to 1024x768, though. :-[

But I can't wait to not have to set everything at 640x480 to play online. :D

I have a 2 MB/s cable connection.

I installed the new card today, and all I can say is...WOW!! :O

Everything runs so fast... :O

Hmm, I think it was DEFINTELY worth it. :)

Nice specs man. Looks like a good setup. I got the top of the line setup and I am really pleased how fast things work and how nice the everything sounds because I got a 5.1 dolby digital surround sound system. ;D

Now all I need to complete my system is a 22 inch flat pannel monitor. :)

Thats gonna take some time to save for......

But yeah man Duke looks good, your gonna be real pleased with the results from your boost.

I'm also waiting a supply of computercomponents.

It's a very cheap upgrade though.

The upgrade features:

Amd Athlon XP2400+ (2GHz)

ASUS A7V8X (motherboard)

512Mb DDR RAM

Thermaltake Smart & Silent Volcano 9 CoolMod(Notice the "CoolMod" which means LED lights which change colors when the fan changes speed ;D)

Sweex Xenon XG Miditower

Cost: approximately $438.

It will replace my "broken" SDRAM and upgrade my cpu to match my graphics card(as my current cpu is extremely slow compared to my graphics card which means I don't get the most out of the graphic card)

I have also some spare parts set aside so the old components will, together with the spare parts, form a "new" computer ;D
